Meet ZekeontheWater
Behind The Music
Born in Buckley, Washington, ZekeontheWater (Ezekiel Anderson) is a producer, singer, and songwriter whose music distills the spirit of the Pacific Northwest—towering pines, misted coastlines, and twilight skies—into cinematic, melody-driven pop. Inspired by Avicii, Owl City, Enya, Dolly Parton, TheFatRat, Lana Del Rey, and Blond in Car, he blends luminous synth work with earnest vocals and story-first songwriting.
His path began at nine with piano lessons and countless hours exploring his grandparents’ vintage keyboard. At thirteen he received a small MIDI keyboard and started producing; by fifteen he was composing original material, later adding classical voice training to shape his distinctive tone and phrasing. His craft is rooted in atmosphere and emotion—songs designed to feel like night drives, open roads, and star-lit reflection.
More than a sound, ZekeontheWater offers a world: intimate, widescreen, and unmistakably his—music that invites listeners to exhale, look up, and keep going.
